This is an opportunity for the Christian community to reach out to newly released women through sponsorship and practical support, and engenders reconciliation and healing within the larger community that will carry forward far beyond the transitional period after release.

Beauty for Ashes, Inc.  Outreach Ministries is a Faith-based, 501c3, Non-Profit Organization, comprised solely of volunteers who have made a commitment to providing service and support to women and children who are in crisis and have the desire to start over and transform their lives by breaking patterns of self-destructive behavior.

Our Vision

Our vision is to meet the needs of womenand children in crisis whose lives have been shattered by drugs, alcohol, homelessness, abuse and or incarceration. Most especially we want to reach those women who will be re-entering society having just been released from jail or prison. We seek to aid in their transformation and restoration. And to assist them back into their communities as productive, law abiding and contributing citizens.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve women who have made a positive decision to move forward with their lives. We believe that providing the resources necessary to secure a decent job, to identify safe and affordable housing options as well as to be reunited with family members will help our clients set and achieve workable goals for the future.

To sustain these goals we offer:

• Re-entry Mentoring Program which encourages accountability and provides support to overcome major challenges.
• Community Resource Networking which offers a wide range of resources, agencies and services which our women need to sustain and improve their lives.
• Steps to Empowerment ~A support group that focuses on spirituality, personal growth and healing.
